A group is calling on the Federal Government to arrest and prosecute former governor of Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, Professor Charles Soludo over allegation of fraud while in office.
The pro-democracy group, Anambra Restoration Movement (ARM), also called on the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to exclude the Soludo, from the November 6, 2021, governorship election in Anambra state.
Uguru Gabriel Onyebuchi and Goodness Chioma, National Coordinator and Publicity Secretary of the group, respectively, at a rally in INEC Headquarters in Abuja said the people of Anambra state cannot risk having Soludo as their governor without accounting for his deeds as CBN governor.
The group said under Soludo as CBN governor, Nigeria’s economy and the banking sector was not well managed.
