Nigeria’s annual Information Technology Conference, Exhibitions and Awards tagged ‘eNigeria’, begins today at the International Conference Centre, Abuja with the theme: “PROMOTING A DIGITAL ECONOMY IN AN ERA OF DISTRUPTIVE TECHNOLOGIES THROUGH EFFECTIVE REGULATIONS”.
The 3-Day event which provides a veritable platform for brainstorming on emerging technologies, local innovation and relevant ICT issues for the socio-economic development of Nigeria was officially declared open by His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari GCFR, President and Commander -in- Chief of the Armed Forces, Federal Republic of Nigeria while Mallam Nuhu Ahmed Ribadu mni, Pioneer Chairman, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), delivered the Keynote address.
Speakers at the event include the Honourable Minister of Communications, Barrister Abdur-Raheem Adebayo Shittu who is also the Chief Host and the Director General, National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), FBCS,FIIM Dr Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami, who is the Host and Convener of eNigeria 2018.
The gathering is set to also recognize and reward public, private sectors individuals’, governments bodies, corporate bodies, startups, during the “DIGITAL SERVICE PROMOTION AWARDS”,
Interactive sessions would address areas of Big Data Analytics, Cyber Security, Internet of things and a whole lot more.
