Another batch of 161 distressed Nigerians from Mitiga, Libya on Thursday night arrived the murtala Mohammed international airport Lagos.
The returnees who were brought into Nigeria on board a chartered flight were received by the Ag. Coordinator, Lagos Territorial Office, of the National emergency management agency NEMA Ibrahim Farinloye.
According to media reports, they were brought back with the assistance of European Union and international organisation for migration IOM, comprise of 48 female adults, 4 female children, 5 female infants as well as 102 male adults, 1 male child and 1 infant male.
Farinloye disclosed that this batch brought in brings the total number of Voluntary Returnees from Libya to 14,045 .
Some of the returnees while narrating their ordeal say they were treated like slaves.
Other agencies who also received them are NAPTIP, Immigration service, National commission for refugee, police and Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria FAAN
