The National Agency for science and Engineering Infrastructure, NASENI at the weekend lost three senior staff of the agency in an auto crash along Lokoja-Abuja high way.
The three victims include the Director, Science Infrastructure, Professor Mohammed Umar; the Director, Admin & Human Resources, Alhaji Adamu Kanat Hassan and Chief Administration Officer, Mrs. Sotonye Enameh.
A statement signed by the Deputy Director information, NASENI, Segun Ayeoyenikan obtained by Vanguard, the unfortunate incident occurred following a ghastly accident at Abaji on their way to Abuja from an official trip at Ileya, Osun state.
According to the statement, both late Prof Mohammed Umar & Alhaji A.K Hassan had been buried at
Gwarimpa Cemetery after funeral prayers at Life Camp Jumat Mosque, F.C.T Abuja according to Islamic rites.
‘‘With heavy hearts but gratitude to God, the Management of the National Agency for science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) announces the death of three(3) Senior Staff of the Agency: Professor Mohammed Umar.(Director, Science Infrastructure); Alhaji Adamu Kanat Hassan (Director, Admin & Human Resources) and Mrs. Sotonye Enameh,(Chief Admin. Officer.), which sad event took place today following a ghastly motor accident at Abaji on their way to Abuja from an official trip.
‘‘According to information by the two families, please be informed that both late Prof Mohammed Umar & Alhaji A.K Hassan will be buried in Abuja tomorrow,Friday, 19th July, 2019 according to Islamic rites.’’
